The 2030 metrics provide measurement for the vision, strategies and tactics developed for Florida’s strategic plan, which aims to deliver high paying jobs, vibrant communities and global competitiveness in Florida by the year 2030. Based upon the Six Pillars of Florida’s Future Economy, the 2030 metrics represent a unparalleled accountability tool as we collectively work to implement the components contained within our statewide, regional and local strategic plans.
The Florida Chamber Foundation created a composite index measure for each of the Six Pillars, which are represented by the colored dials at the top of The Florida Scorecard. The Six Pillars Index is built upon multiple years of data and the Six Pillars framework for Florida’s future economy. The Six Pillars Index presents a clearer picture of overall trends in Florida by standardizing the measurement of each indicator and calculating the change across multiple indicators over time. The list of indicators that are included within each Pillar Index composite score are denoted by a blue asterisk below.
